Jill Mente is an award-winning graphic designer, art director and creative marketing professional with a foundation in fine art. She has over 15 years of experience in both print and digital design specifically for higher education. In addition to running an active freelance design business where she works with a wide variety of clients, Jill works full-time as the Art Director for University at Albany, SUNY's Office of Communications and Marketing in Albany, NY. She focuses on creative strategy, integrated multi-platform design and brand management.

 

She received her Masters degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA after she earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. She also had the unique experience of studying photography and interior design at Lorenzo di Medici School of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy.

Throughout her career, Jill has earned numerous state-wide honors, district-wide honors (includes area from Maryland to Nova Scotia and the UK), and national awards for her designs.
